Wittmann & Woll

SS-Hauptsturmführer MICHAEL WITTMANN (1914-1944) and his gunner SS-Oberscharführer BALTHASAR "BOBBY" WOLL (1922-1996). Woll was awarded the Knight's Cross on January 16, 1944, two days after his commander Wittmann.

Never seen this picture before. And I always thought it was somewhat unfair for Wittmann to get all the credit, if his gunner did just as much work. Good to see that he got credited, too.
