Good work…“The Longest Ride” is filled with such emotion.

Good Gods! Stunning, Fotophi, truly stunning!

A teacher of mine was an LCI Commander (Royal Navy) on D-Day, 6/6/44, and your images evoke what he told us in class at highschool.

Many Many Thanks, Fotophi.

Kind Regards, Uyraell.

You’re welcome

Thank you for the kind comments on my work.
I will post the next ones I do to this same thread…

FOTOPHI

As an amateur B&W and colour photographer and B&W printmaker of modest ability going back some 40 years I have a bit of an eye for technical and artistic skill in photographic images.

My eye is better at recognising outstanding work than achieving it myself.

Your images are outstanding.

They remind me in some ways of Frank Hurley’s montages and manipulations http://images.google.com.au/imgres?imgurl=http://www.theage.com.au/ffximage/2005/07/27/war_wideweb__430x293.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.theage.com.au/news/tv--radio/history-lens-itself/2005/07/26/1122143850088.html&usg=__28k5-5zKYFrdFCpo5U3xeBaT578=&h=293&w=430&sz=21&hl=en&start=1&um=1&itbs=1&tbnid=hw5hLj-7Y_y7ZM:&tbnh=86&tbnw=126&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dfrank%2Bhurley%2Bwwi%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26client%3Dfirefox-a%26sa%3DN%26rls%3Dorg.mozilla:en-GB:official%26tbs%3Disch:1 in WWI http://www.defencetalk.com/pictures/data/4825/medium/zonnebeeke.jpg and the Antarctic http://www.theage.com.au/ffximage/2005/07/27/war_wideweb__430x293.jpg which also are stunning images from an era with much more limited ability to enhance the image, but where the enhanced image conveys much more than the bare image.
