Here is an excellent site for statistics on the number dead during conflicts of the twentieth century.

On this page you will find detailed statistics about the deaths of every (practically every) country that was involved during the Second World War.
The really good thing about this site is that it lists its sources (and its sources are reliable). It also lists different statistics from different sources relating to the same event. If you are ever doing a report on the Second World War and you need information like this, I suggest you go here.

Expect almost completely missing countries like Finland ;-D

Another good source is Wikipedia’s list of WWII casualties (also by branch of service), which gives basic info quickly. And it lists a lot of countries, while some of the WWII stats pages out there just focus on the major players.

Sorry guys but i seriously doubt in this statistic

USSR death
Stalin years. 1923-29: 2,200,000 (plus 1M non-democidal famine deaths)
1929-39: 15,785,000 (plus 2M non-democidal famine)
1939-45: 18,157,000
1946-54: 15,613,000 (plus 333,000 non-democidal famine)
TOTAL: 51,755,000 democides and 3,333,000 non-demo. famine.

51 millions!!!.

This Cold war propogandic scrap but not the “statistic” guys.

True abour 1939-45 the casulaties of WW2 i think was ever more ( aboout 22-25 millios) but all other - is a scrap.
Other example - Holocaust death in USSR

Davies: 1,500,000-2,000,000 Jews k

It seems they have the competition with each other - who do increas this figures more?
As far as i know about 80% of jews from the about 3 mln jewish population od the part of USSR that was occupet by Germans in the 1941-44 were evacuated to the Eastern regions . The Soviet gov made the great actions for the saving the Jews in the 1941.This fact do not deny even the jews authors.( the Exceptions were the some of Great Pokets of 1941 - for instance Kiev - where the Germans captured the whole jewish community of city and immediatelly has began the executions)
Thus in the zone of the germans “activity” coul not be more then 500-600 thousands of jews . But not all of them were killed- manies come to the forests and joining the partisans ).
So i/m seriously doubt in the statistic above.
