WW2 Graffiti

The stencilled graffiti was part of a campaign to reintegrate returning servicemen into society.

Thats neat.

Are there more of this grafitti?

Henk

If you’re interested in that sort of thing and are ever in Cambridge (in the UK) go to the Eagle (pub, right opposite King’s College). The roof in the back bar there is still covered in graffiti burnt into it during WW2 by visiting servicemen (mostly US IIRC). Madingley American Cemetery (the only US war cemetery in the UK) is after all about 2 miles away, and the area is infested with WW2 airfields.

I will go and check it out next year when I am in the UK.

Thanks mate.
