WW2 look-alikes

Time and time again people on the photo site are spotting WW2-era look-alikes of celebrities…please compare and decide for yourself. Here are three photos as a start:

Young Sean Connery (who indeed played a Bren gunner in ‘The longest Day’):

Steve McQueen:

Bruce Willis (actually it’s German Major General Adelbert Schulz):

Feel free to continue, more to come.

Pic #2 looks a bit like Steve McQueen, Pic #1 does look like Sean Connery when he was younger, (Darby O’Gill&the little people.)

You’re right of course, it was indeed Steve McQueen someone mentioned.

Ray Liotta in the foreground?

The captured SS troop in the middle looks like Tim Matheson of “Animal House” fame…

And RIP Patrick Swayze.

It is Harrison Ford, before he was a famous guy. He was a carpenter that occasionally got acting work on the side.

The ammo loader on the machine gun looks like John Wayne

Do you mean Croats from Croatia or Krauts as the Allied name for Germans of WW2?

Some guys thought this orthodox priest of the Red Army bears a resemblance to Liam Neeson. Dunno about that…

Maybe this will help persuade you.The last photo is for a chuckle

I only knew Neeson from his early works but yes, I admit there’s a resemblance.
