WWII picture removed from Tretiakov gallery

This is a picture by the Russian painter N. M. Terehov. It has been removed from the main Moscow art gallery due to certain political considerations.

I can’t understand, what you want to say?

As you see the picture depicts the parade of Victory in the Red Square, the episode when soldiers throw the banners of Nazi units to the Lenin mausoleum.
The front banner is the modern flag of the Russian Federation. As far as I remember picture is called something like Живи и помни.
Evidently the banner belonged to some Russian unit in the German troops.
