Well as i know all tactical ( almost all) things that RA has adopted for service in ww2 was taken from … Wermacht.
I suggest it was a slighty adopted for russian condition the germans vertion of Artillery Horse…
But doncey has been eaten yet a long time ago…

The photo of the Russian soldier holding Hitler’s head is priceless:) Is he using a walking stick? Wounded?
I have no doubt that was in Berlin and the Russan was thanking his stars he was still ALIVE!
