Britisches Freikorps

I have accounts of two cases of Britisches Frei Korps members captured by a British “Special Operations” Unit. Apparently, both had been pointing out likely BFK recruits to SS Officers.

This information from a former member of the Unit that captured the BFK men.

Neither BFK man survived to face either trial or jail: Both were ordered shot, by Command Authority. That won’t appear in historic references for many years to come: if ever.

Seems highly implausible - virtually all members of the BFC were well known and accounted for. Furthermore, there was plenty of precedent for captured members of the BFC to be held for court-martial, and if appropriate executed afterwards. There was nothing to gain and quite a bit to lose by such an execution, even if they had been able to keep it a secret.
