flamethowerguy: of course is tough, but the second, and the third is very dramatic.I try also upload the Waffen SS corpse(in the hole in his head)but it was too hard for the moderators
This was one of the first photos I used to upload in the “dramatic photos” section. It’s still one of the most disturbing pictures to me. The shredded “rest” of the wounded german soldier hanging over the wreck of the truck.
As ghastly as deat in war can be, there are some occasions where the dead appear untouched, appearing more to be asleep than dead, this is caused usually by the concussion of high explosives, the shock wave kills instantly, but produces no visible injury. People sitting as they had just before the end came, nothing disturbed, all looking like a photograph. Freezing can do this too, its a very eerie sight.(actually, its more disturbing than seeing the result a conventional battle death.)
Imi, I guess your last photo was from the massacre at Nemmersdorf which took place on October 21st 1944 when the Red Army touched german soil in East Prussia. About 25 civilians (from babies to old people) were massacred here. Hard photos, seeing a baby executed by headshot. It’s not sure if the women were raped or if the german propaganda units “prepared” the bodies for the photo. Anyway, on the pictures you see every female bodie with pants down or skirts up. Pictures of dead kids are the worst to look at I think.

The corpse of a convict porter killed by SPDC soldiers in punishment for fleeing from the army patrol he was serving with.
Disgusting, that gotta hurt! SPDC means Burma, right? John Rambo will take care of it then…

Weird picture, sort of looks like a drawing.
Not so much disturbing as creepy looking. I dont look for this stuff either, but my best friend is a paramedic, and he’s always sending me pictures of some jack ass who ran into a wall on a motorcycle or something, so Ive got a little bit of a tougher exterior when it comes to this stuff.
Well, I guess the effect on somebody is absolutely subjective. Try to illustrate the story behind it…
Well, bro, you just ruined my sunday’s dinner…(-:
sorry flame!
Pooh, looking at pictures of mounted infantry on tanks always gave me a strange feeling of insecurity. Now this feeling is confirmed.
