Brutality

This is not a firestorm , becouse the hears is undamaged.
This is probably the White Phosphorus action, the soft tissues are fully burned out, while the clothes and bones wasn’t damaged.

Hey, gentlemens stop post the unrelated to WW2 photos.

In Dresden the phosphorus distract the oxigen from the air,and who isn’t burnt in the streets,is drown in the cellars

It was napalm, not phosphorus that burned out all Oxygen arond the centre. And you right even peoples in cellas died from shortage of oxygen.
The phosphorus just add the new terrible property to a bomb. It will fire up just when it has access to oxygen. The special detonator is no more needed. When white phosphorus drop at the skin it start to burn and you can’t put it out , just if to stop the access of oxygen, for instance to put the place under water. But the problem is when you extract it out of water- it will start to burn immediately again.
I did read an article about one of firebombing - when the grains of phosphorus drop at peoples, they in panic jumped at river, but after they have trued to go out - they feels cruel ill, the skin start to burn again.
The situation was such a tragical that the local police units has the order- to shoot the poor civilc , who continie to burn and still feels terrible sufferings becouse of phosphorus . Nobody can’t help them.
Terrible scene.

Now thats messed up.

RifleMan20:yeah,not too nice
I stop the upload, the new images, but I think the wounds, and the brutality are same every war.

and thats not even the civilians

Plum schnaps it is, imi. Always interesting to watch the Wochenschau. It’s better though not to understand what the narrator is saying. Like this Wochenschau -taken in late 1944- they kept on telling everything is just fine on the fronts and the “russian steppe-hordes” (quote from this movie) are being defeated where they’re met…

My grandfather told me the some russian do crazy things:drinking from the toilet, eating the toothpaste with bread, and sitting in the court half naked in -20 C

Which side was he in?

Major Walter Schmidt:in the axis side

Katyn

The german commander of the town of Arnhem/Netherlands, General Kussin, ambushed by british paratroopers (3rd Battalion’s No.5 Platoon) on September 17th 1944 during OP Market Garden:

There are three different versions of what have could happened to him: a) he was “scalped” by the british. Unlikely behaviour though but arguments are that souvenir collectors were among the british paratroopers since the general’s collar tabs and jacket buttons are missing as well, b) he was wearing a hair piece and c) glass pieces of the wind screen of the car did this to him after it was destroyed by an smg burst.
…and his driver:

It’s told that the bodies had been dragged out of the car. Is that enough to break and twist a leg like that? And is there some hair missing on him as well?

I never undersand why do man to man spare brutality,or pain above the death…

Disturbing photo of a burnt russian tank crew member who tried to bail out but didn’t make it. Watch the Ppsh-41 submachine gun in front of him.

some of these choked me up, the first casualty i saw in iraq was my own doing, and only the second dead person i ever saw. people here think im kind of a hard ass too, but whew…some of these are rough on the senses
