I’ve heard a lot of adjectives applied to Peiper, but “legendary” is a new one. He was accused of war crimes in practically every area in which he served. In my opinion, the only good thing about Peiper was the way he died.

I’ve been thinking (yes I know very dangerous). Moderators, can you bin/lock this thread. I don’t think it’s appropriate to idolise a bunch of racists and mass murderers it’s akin to playing top trumps with British serial killers, i.e. Peter Sutcliffe vs. Fred West.

I agree. There’s nothing worse than rehabilitating people who have thoroughly dishonored themselves.
