in this excellent late-war ‘newsreel’, we see the Drilling 251 as you say - but the other 251 also has extra armour on top of the front and sides - it looks a bit like the armour on a 251/9, but there is no 75mm gun; does anyone know which 251 this is? It could be a Drilling (251/21) with the AA gun removed, but it doesn’t look quite right for that.

He’s carrying mg-34 or 42 belts for back-up for the mg in tow that is not seen I presume.
Mg-34 for sure, the Mg-42 was not in service at that time.
