Mein Kampf

firefly - could have been Amazon’s bestseller lists, but he didn’t say that.

Just checked amazon.fr’s bestseller list - Mein Kampf is not even in the top 100.

Mein Kampf, therefore, must be read as a reminder that evil can all too easily grow

Bavaria, the German state that holds the rights of Hitler’s work, has fought to prevent publishing houses around the world from publishing it.

“Mein Kampf,” or “My Struggle,” is banned from sale in Germany, where it can only be found in libraries for research purposes.

I agree. He didnt say that at all. And the references are all about 5-6 years old.

I lost the link, my Mozilla firefox browser keeps reseting itself

Ive used Firefox for almost 2 years now and have ever had a problem.

Mein Kampf though, what a turgid, dire struggle to read. Times make the man and Im sure that bad times in Germany made that man something more than he should ever have been…

Mein Kampf, Ive read only a bit, but I couldnt get into it. I will agree, its just the ramblings of a madman. Hitler wasn’t stupid, he was just utterly insane.

…neo nazi?..

Try to use Opera browser i used it its good for me,i have no problems ,and i have firefox 1.04 and makes me problems i cannot download nothing. :?

Mein Kampf is boring as hell, I couldn’t manage to read at least half :?

Boring ravings perhaps but it sets the stage for “Hitler’s 2nd Book” as it is called, where he makes it quite plain that the US is on his list. Just in case there are any weak sisters who still believe in the 1930s isolationism practiced by so many Americans.

although its not forbidden in Belgium I have never seen it… I’m very interested in reading it

Its quite easy to find English versions of Mein Kampf at any decent book store. I bought a copy a few years ago, i was curious, but never did finish reading it.

If this book is so bad then do you think that it had no bearing on the rise of the Nazi party? i.e. even back then no one bothered to read it? I always assumed that Mein Kampf was a means of spreading Nazi ideology.

Does any one know if Mein Kampf was a best seller in its day? Or were all those book burnings the Nazi’s used to indulge in actually burnings of unsold copies of Mein Kampf?

This book is on my list to buy one day … to gather dust with the other books I have to have but know are going to be dull.

Main Kampf was a book I remember guys would read in junior high and high school. Don’t know why. I could never get into it. You can get the same thing off any white power hate site.

It was a bestseller after Der Madman came to power, everyone was out to prove they were a good Nazi!

Welcome aboard mate, glad to have another member.

Just one slight thing, if you notice everyone here is required to have a WW2 avatar (1933-45). Can you change yours to one please?
