Well i banned his ip and email. However I made the mistake of deleting his whole profile which in turn made all his post renamed under guest. Anyhow we need to stay on top of these things as we are getting loads of spammers lately.

Also would like to note that you can go ahead and delete all post of someone … just make sure you give me an ip to ban. Make sure you state if it seems static or dynamic. Thanks!
I had a PM from Fluffy Bunny saying that the ARRSE site was spammed by the same people.
If you look at the links in the spam, some of them are companies with good names.
I think we should report them to Google as I believe they spam loads of sites like ours to get a top Google rating.
If companies like mercedes etc are involved I’m sure they wont be too happy if they have employed guys who are doing this kind of stuff.
I agree with Firefly. The perpetrators should be dealt with and reported to the proper authorities.

Got another one today! We might have to start handing out some site defense medals. Anyhow. Should we create a forum that clearly states are stance on spammers? Automatic ban and if company related we will contact the company. Or do you think this will just attrach more spammers! Plus is there any thoughts on a certain group that might be targeting the site. Its seems random but however is increasing. We need intell!!!
no, i think we shouldnt be deleting their message, instead we should change their message to something like
i am a big fat idiot who has nothing else to do but to post spam
something not as stupid but just to humuliate him and then ban
