There’s a scene there were a new married couple is walking its way out of the church after the ceremony.
The Greek crowd (brides family) are spitting on them as they walked by.
This is a Greek tradition.It supposed to keep the jinx away.
The thing is that if i spit you im sure you’ll get the wrong idea.
Conclusion (IMHO):
Keep the British humor for the British and it’ll be ok.
That’s the reason I suggested it, at the time a lot of British posts were being deleted and warnings given because certain Mods just didn’t understand what they were saying. I’m sure if a load of Greeks were registered, it would be the same for you lot.
I genuinely think that as long as this forum is in English and a lot of English speaking humour is a play on words that certain people will take things the wrong way.
Im sure its not going to change to another language, so English speaking humour is here to stay Im afraid.

As you can see the site is continuing to improve greatly. Im glad to see it. Here are the current stats. As you can see all number are improving. Plus ive have noticed more activity on the board. Seems i cant log on now without new posts in all the forum. Thats just wonderful. Keep up the good work guys. We have alot of great posters now. Thanks

At the moment you can refer all simple site problems to me since im the only Admin/Mod. Bigger ones will have to be refered to ww2admin. If you noticed you can easily report spam or bad posts next to a users name. Please only use this seriously … dont need 5000 reports of he isnt being nice to me crap. Anyhow ill do the best i can.
