It’s the PA-III aka OA vz.27.
Your turn Malarz Russ!
Hello, y’all!
In keeping with the recent trend of less than good looking vehicles, here is todays offering:
An ugly prototype to what ugly vehicle?
Russ
Proud son of Rose and Wes
It looks like a British tank because were they trying to build faster tanks , but ran out of money, right?
That is the Urban Assault Vehicle used in the movie “Stripes”.
It seems to me that our special guest is the good old Austrian Austro-Daimler ADGZ armored car prototype from 1933.

Hello, Librarian!
And all other lovers of things armored!
You got it Librarian! It wasn’t from penniless Englishmen nor did it ferry around Bill Murray, but it IS ugly! It is the prototype Austrian ADGZ armored car as used by various police organizations.
Your turn Librarian, come up with a good one!
Russ
Proud son of Rose and Wes
Thank you, my dear Mr. Malarz Russ. So here we have our hottest armored celebrity. Do you recognize this undeservedly forgotten armored medium?
Hooray! Tracks again! But I still have no guesses…
No problem, my dear Mr. Prime Minister – we are not here in a desperate hurry!
Just use that already prescribed method, previously tacitly explained by honorable Mr. Sergej: try to analyze certain “standardized” areas of a given machine - tracks, suspension, armored plates, or those presented uniforms, etc. Those diminutive signs actually are extremely useful in our greatly demanding identification job.
Was it part of a CDL unit?
No, my dear Mr. Prime Minister – our mystery vehicle represented just an average experimental armored construction which was positioned somewhere on the Continent.
BTW – do you remember that charming little “turtle like” SP AT gun previously presented by Mr. Sergej in his post No. 415? You know – that one with a nice, “streamlined”, well sloped armor? Well, I think that I do have the proper answer: it is a Swiss vehicle, the Nahkampfkanone II “Gustav”. Here you have a direct link:

Enjoy!
Is it an “Experimental Tank - Number 1”? The site I found it on had no other info.
No, my dear Mr. Prime Minister – our vehicle has its own, full, completely regular and accurate designation.
This tank is made in the late 20’s - early 30’s,
it’s simular to Neubaufahrzeug and the British
Independent tank. Late T-35’s had this kind of
suspension, with 4x2 wheelpairs, but this one
looks a bit smaller.
I think we need some help.
What can I say, my dear Mr. Sergej – your analytical capabilities are truly admirable! My sincerest congratulations!
And here you have another tip: this machine is neither British, nor German.
Well, you said it was a continental tank, so that rules out the UK and Ireland, and you just said it wasn’t German, so that leaves what? The rest of Europe.
Well, not exactly, my dear Mr. Prime Minister – you see, our distinguished colleague, Mr. Sergej, indeed was very courteous in his previously presented analysis, and my answer is directly connected with his highly enlightening statements.
Therefore please, take a closer look once again – I am assuring you that a true revelation is already there!
Tatra T-III!
What can I say, my dear Mr. Sergej? Bravo!
Yet again it will be your well deserved turn!
Thank you Librarian!
I will continue with tracked turretless vehicles.
