M51 recovery by the way

Hiya, y’all!

M51A2?

I dont have any numbers or models for you, but that is no A.P.C. the running gear is all Tank. this is some type of recovery vehicle, or combat engineer vehicle. Ah! just noticed some one came up with the model. But just for sake of knowing, all U.S. and many foreign A.P.C.s have the drive sprockets in the front. Most also use a narrow “dead” track, (like soviet armor) The pictured vehicle has a “live” track, that is to say a track that runs back over return rollers(small wheels across the top run of the track) and the track is adjusted tightly and does not droop as does the Christy style (soviet) of track suspension.

Yeah, Major Walter Schmidt got it… Havn’t been here in a while. Here’s some more info if you want to translate it. It’s in German.

Go ahead Major! Lead the way!

Something with wheels for a change.

An easy one, M-8 greyhound, a good vehicle, and the 37 mm gun is a big help. the m-20, has no turret, or heavy gun, just M-2 .50 cals up top.

Not realy…

a german captured m8

Whether captured or not, its still a Greyhound, M-8. the only other option is if it was sold on contract to some other country, with their particular choice of equipment, and arms, then, it would be something else.

well the desegnation is Panzerspahwagen M8 —(a)
