I know it doesnt matter i just put an answer after major said “not really”
Ok…Who should go next…
TG should
So Tnk.Gzr it is.
Alrighty, since you ask, here is an interesting machine, not often seen, and not a real toughy to identify.
Yay! I got here first.
This tank is an easy one: it’s the M50 ‘Ontos’ Tank Destroyer. The ‘Thing’, as it was called, had 6 106mm recoilless rifles. Its armour was 13mm thick, not enough for a supposed tank destroyer. It saw action in Hue, in Viet Nam, and in the Dominican Republic. The only bad thing about it was that the crew had to get outside the vehicle to reload it, and the backblast gave away your location.
CORRECTUMUNDO!! I figured this wouldnt be to tough, its not the usual thing one see in museums and such, but it is distinctive. Not the best idea, but not bad for jungle use, light, maneuverable, not bad firepower, though inconvenient. Cant say that I would want to face down a real tank with it, unless i could ambush, then di-di right quick.
I had seen it before, and a thing like that, you don’t really forget.
So, what in the world is this? The Russian name as well as the nickname please. Major Walter, I’m looking at you.
I would be able to if i could see the foto.
Grrr… Let me try and fix it this afternoon: school awaits…
It should be working now… I hope…
That is the Lebedenko, also called “the Tsar” or “tsarTank” . a very early form of fighting vehicle, kind of on the order of landships envisioned as the shape of things to come.
Yeah… You’re right. I guess that this was first come, first serve.
Get a harder one this time.
Did I answer out of turn? sorry if so, well, I do have a slightly more difficult one this time,
No, you just needed to get a harder picture. By the way, nice WW1 Combat Latrine.
:shock::shock:WWI armored toilet? I cant believe it!:shock::shock:
Well i could of guessed that, he left the tag on and if you hover your mouse it answers, so try to change the tag TG before posting, just a word of advise.
Well, guys do you really think I would leave the actual name of the thing in the tag?Dont be so gullible, Here is a hint, there is no such thing as an armored combat latrine. I was just keeping you from figuring it out too easily. Its actually a well known vehicle.
Its some kind of command post.
All I need is the basic name, nomenclature is optional, and gets you a Brownie point extra. now that you mention it, a command post, and a latrine are not so different:)
Hiya, y’all, and Happy Friday!
That’s an easy one… it’s a “WC, Armoured, Mk 2”, also known as a Provos Privy!
Sorry, actually it’s a British Medium Mark A “Whippet”, intended as a high speed (8.3 mph) complement to the larger heavy tanks in service.
