As I undertsand it, Kennedy did something similar?

That is a point. Its the advisers, assistants, and cabinet choices, That are crucial to a seamless presidency, (or at least a less unseemly Presidency) With the right people even a practical neophyte can do well, especially someone with good common sense, and communication talents.
As far as J.F. Kennedy goes, I was about 9 when he died, so I dont know that much about him, I know he was using opiates for his back injury from the war, and was often well ripped during his time in Washington. But, everybody loved him, and the White house during his time was referred to as Camelot. I will say that for any failings he may have had, he was in truth the right man to be there at that time. He did handle the Cuban missile situation with a strong hand, and kept the world a bit farther away from wwIII. A lesson that has endured, and shows the foolishness of playing a nuclear game of “mine is bigger”
I could be wrong, but my uderstandanding is that the ‘Camelot’ tag came about on account of the cabinet being likened to ‘Arthur and the Roundtable’ - a near perfect form of government for getting things done?
Might not have been the truth of it, but it was the image that was being projected.
Always remember that ABC broadcast regarding black students entering a Southern University, with shots from the Uni and then to the cabinet room in the Whitehouse. Very impressive.
Around that time, newspapers started reporting of a new crisis in the making. A federal court order had mandated that the University of Alabama accept the enrollment of two black students. Governor George Wallace was threatening to stand in the school’s doorway to block their entrance. The previous year, a similar conflict in Oxford, Miss., had caused riots.
Pennebaker and producer Gregory Shuker recognized that Alabama could be the next flashpoint for civil rights. Instead of going through the White House, they won permission from Attorney General Robert Kennedy to cover the story inside the Justice Department. The White House admitted the crew to film deliberations in the Oval Office on the condition that the administration could approve the film before it aired. At the last minute, ABC agreed to pay for the program. Crews were dispatched to follow events simultaneously in Washington and Alabama.
'‘Crisis: Behind a Presidential Commitment,’’ filmed in June 1963, cross-cuts between the perspectives of the Kennedys, Wallace, the black students, and the urbane US Deputy Attorney General Nicholas Katzenbach, who was handling the case in Alabama. The tension builds with every scene as Wallace eulogizes his Confederate heroes, the attorney general contemplates calling in the National Guard, the President’s advisers debate the political fallout, the NAACP advises the students on possible risks, and Katzenbach instructs federal marshals to ‘‘take whatever force is necessary’’ to protect the students.
we don’t like USA, not the american per se, due to this ;
Democracy isnt so bad, but if the bumperstickers ever say be nice or we’ll send McDonalds, then you’re in trouble!
Yes. McDonalds is a sure sign of age decline.

Bravo!
America Strikes Back!
I did mentioned,… bunch of only, and not all… one of them is me,. but am not totally against the US per se or even Americans,… perhaps the political agenda that is,… as i did mentioned,… we don’t like the helping democracy thing to others by USA,… you see,. not all countries are free and liberal countries that has close ties with US,… some if not lot of them are militarian or event totalitarian,. like this small island republic,. where press can’t freely express their mind etc etc,… But as long as the other countries closely related to US foreighn policy,. they seems can enjoy un-disturbed dictatorship within their own country yes?
To be honest,. i am very curious on the next US election outcome,.
And what’s your opinion about the Japanese and Japan?
hmm,. is it a tricky question here?
depends,… if she slim, attractive, single,. i think i will fancy her yes…
but if he,. brute, noisy, and fuzzy,. i’ll be stay away from him
About Japan,.
I do like Japan countryside,… especially where we can enjoy onsen,. very comfortable… i dont like shinjuku,. very crowded,…
and yes,. i do participating in so called,. Shinyo-en, nice people there,…
anything else?
To others,… Ladies&Gent,. am not infuriating anti-US or-any-other-nation sentiment here, i just expressing my thought on US foreign policy,. I even working for US based MNC,… i even express it to my US fellows,… and most of them agree with my opinion in sense of double standard US foreign policy,.
Cheers
Kato must be disappointed.
No. gumalangi is discontent with the US policy but he did not mention that he has something against the Japanese one.
it is hard thing to do,. to please every one these days
Kombawa Kato San,.
Genki desu ka?
I dont have anything to talk about the present Japan/Japanese, except places of interests, foods and,… AV stars
but i do like WW2 from pacific as,… my father directly involved as he served under the Rising sun flag,. he also got no grudges for the Japanese,. he even still able to sing Kimigayo at the age of 70plus( he died on 1996),… He still insisted that because of Japan,. Indonesia was liberated,… (somewhat true,. but not intend to discuss it here)
but if I have any discontent abt Japan in the future i’ll let you know,… ok
cheers
Keep your own counsel.
