WW2 aircraft

Hello Mr. Wingsofwrath
I’m pretty sure your obscure aircraft is the Cunliffe Owen Clyde Clipper OA-1 which flew extensively in North Africa with the colour of the Free French Air Force (Croix de Lorraine)

Carson1934

Congratulation!
Your answer (as I guess ) is correct!
Moreover - this particular plane was General Charles de Gaulle’s personal transport asset (only one of the british licence of Burnelli UB-14 have been produced)

TGR

Nice speedy identification on this one, Mr Carson! We can look forward on some nice interwar aircraft from your part, yes?

Good afternoon gentlemen,

yes of course dear Wingsofwrath I’m submitting following offer which falls within the interwar period you wished to choose…
Therefore your turn is up dear friends!
Carson1934

Ooh! A Czechoslovak Aero A.42 , probably one of the best looking interwar bombers!

That was indeed a very nice choice, Mr Carson and I must congratulate you for it, since It’s been ages since I heard anything about this aircraft.

I hope you will find that the sleek little bird I’m offering you in exchange has an equally graceful profile:

Estonian PN-3 (trainer - light fighter)
That was a hard one!!!

TGR

Indeed, you are right, Mr Tiger.
My sincerest congratulations!
Please proceed.

Dear Wingsofwrath,
yes it is indeed the graceful Aero A-42 which I made purposely easy without hiding any registration marks…the reason is that I much prefer to be put to the test by other members rather than making my own offers…
Cheers
Carson1934

May I add without boasting that I knew equally well your beautiful Post & Neudorf PN3 but naturally all honours go to Mr. Tiger who got there first!

Thanks a lot!
Sorry Sir to be a bit faster…hopefully you can do it now !

Here is my UGLY bird.
I made some photoshop changes with the code letters - and the tailcode is disappeared too. The changes had no effect on the main layout.

Good work to identify!

TGR

I can’t believe my eyes!

1925 French airliner FARMAN F-4X JABIRU, belonging to the Compagnie Internationale de Navigation Aérienne (original registration F-AHAF)!
Yes, this plane was seriously hit with the ugly stick. The best part with it? The pilot sat atop the wing in an open cockpit, completely isolated from the rest of the aircraft…

Very well done Mr. Wingsofwrath!

I supposed this should remain a bit longer, but never mind - I can check my brain earlier!
It 's your turn!

TGR

Hehe. What can I say, nobody can ever forget a plane that ugly…

In any case, please accept this little substitute enigma:

I’m pretty sure it is a Henschel Hs124 series V1. There are several versions of this machine looking quite different from one another!
carson1934

Can somebody confirm my guess of post #854 in order to proceed with further offers?
Thanks
carson1934

Looks like the Henschel Hs 124 to me. Google concurs so away you go, I think.

Good afternoon gentlemen,
this is my today’s offer which I think it’s almost self-explanatory…
Carson1934

Piccolo XX.jpg

That is the Aicha D1A, I think.

Concur.
Based off a Henschel Licence from approximately 1934, though the design itself dates to 1931, if I recall correctly.

Kind Regards, Uyraell.

Yes my dear friends from New Zealand
It is the Aichi D1A2 (Navy Type 96) built in Japan in 1936.
I don’t know if it originates from a german aircraft but this fact wouldn’t surprise me at all…
I’m now expecting Kiwimac’s offer (sorry Uyraell) he got there first!
Cheers
Carson1934

Let’s see about this one:
