Well done, your turn.
Thanx a lot,
What is this??

Hello Dear Mr. Carson1934,
Certainly Kiwimac got there first, and certainly he earned the go-ahead.
By no method would I dare dispute the fact.
I’d only intended to corroborate his identification of the pictured aircraft.
I knew he’d earned the go-ahead, and was happy he had.
Kind Regards Carson1934, Uyraell.
P.S: a respectful Suggestion, Gentlemen.
Perhaps we could agree to adopt the following convention for quizzes, (and possibly threads in general) whereby we preface the first lines of the body of any post we make with the letters
Cor:
So as to save time in batting around who was first with an answer, and also to distinguish the fact of a corroboration taking place rather than a competitive post (in the case of a quiz) or a debative/informative post (in the case of a thread).
I await your considered responses, Gentlemen.
Kind Regards, Uyraell.
Hello Dear Mr. Uyraell,
and what do you think about my nice shape fighter plane???
sincerely,
TGR
Oh, my friends,
no any idea?
Good afternoon dear Tiger 205
Your pic seems to me pretty fuzzy but I would like to say: MiG.I/211 of 1942…
I wouldn’t put my hand on fire though therefore I would require your kind confirmation (or not)…
carson1934
Wery well done, Mr. Carson,
Although I call it MiG-9E, but this is exaclty the same!
You are good!
So Sir, it is your turn!
TGR
Since this is my turn I take pleasure in submitting following floatplane which at one stage was world-famous for her tragic adventure in the north pole…
carson1934
A rather unexpected graphic change within the forum, I’ll have to get used to the new format…
Dear Mr. Carson!
what a nice Thread!
This picture drops me back to my childhood when i loved to read ANYTHING aboutt the expeditions, includind Amundsen trips.
Thsi Nice french bilpane, Nathan 47 was (or 47.02 precisly) the destiny of the famous when in 1928 took of in Norway to find out the dissapeard ITALIA airship with the famous explorer on board, disapearred too somewhere over the Barents sea …
OFf:
DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHATS ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF THIS NEW LAYOUT?
I HAVE FOUND JUST DISADVANTEGES YET
TGR
It’s just temporary. I will add more layouts so you will be able to pick the one you like the most.
Thank U for the quick respond!
Some new features are GREAT ,
BUT I miss the smileys to choose and the reply box is small - especially when I try to answer with quote).
And something is strange with the pictures too!
Best Regadrs:
TGR
Somebody says that this message is too short to be transmitted. Is somebody daydreaming? Oh I see now where the problem is: I clicked on “reply with quote” rather than clicking on “reply” (as I wrote before I must get used to the new layout which at first is always confusing…please forgive my clumsiness…)
Carson1934
As Mr. carson1934 authorised me, please find attach photo about one of my favorite fighters - whish on e - against its extraordinary performance - fated to fail entering service because of the STUPID competitive behaviour of khaki and white uniform wearing administrative @ssholes!
I guess the quiz is not so HARD now
regards:
TGR
Dear Tiger205
Thanks for your offer.
I think this is the Mitsubishi Ki18 (キ18试作战斗机)Ki-jyuhachi of 1935. I’m not hundredpercent sure because I only have a very bad pic of such aircraft and I’d like you to confirm (or not) my finding…
Cheers
Carson1934
Dear Mr. Carson1934,
You are right - of course!
I thought this is a not well-known plane, but it seems you know by heart all the produced ones!
The plane was outstanding, but the Air force offiers not wanted an aircraft with a “NAVY” aircraft engine.
Anyway, it is your turn!
Gentlemen,
may I ask you to identify the attched aircraft? I’m afraid it isn’t a good picture qualitywise but that’s the best I could find!
The aircraft proved to be very good for its times but the military wouldn’t choose it and it sadly remained a prototype…
All the best
Carson1934
Pzl-46?
Dear Kiwimac,
It is indeed a polish aircraft as you surmised however not from such a well known company like PZL but from a somewhat less known manufacturer
Carson1934
Unless it is some marque of the RWD factory, I’m stumped!
