Band of Brothe

Ill add another one to my favorites: To end all wars
I urge anyone who has the chance to watch this movie, it is based on a book written by someone who was a POW there. Very moving
I’m stuck between 2 favorites and a series
-Band of Brothers
-The Longest Day
-Is Paris Burning?
I need to rent a lot of your favorite movies like Stalingrad and To End All Wars, I need to see these biggies :o I MUST!
“Battle of the Bulge”, directed by Ken Annakin is a great one also. I believe it was made in 1965 but the special effects are top-notch, even today. True classic, runs on the History Channel sometimes.
Also, “The Great Escape” directed by John Sturges (hope i spelled his name right), is an awesome movie for those interested in POW life in WW2. While it may not be so realistic its still a good action movie. 1963 I think it was. They also made a really bad game off of it but thats for another forum…
SPR and Band of Brothers are an excellent show for the people than never live or feel the war experience. my respect 8)
Meh, battle of the bulge was too weird for me, looked like they were fighting in a desert half the time.
The longest day and is Paris burning are my favorites
I like the Battle of the Bulge but only for it’s transient snow and lack of trees in the final scene ( if you have ever been to the Ardennes you will know what I mean).
Anything where Paris is afire gets my vote.
Memphis Belle, this movie was ok.
My two favorites are To Hell and Back as well as Sands Of Iwo Jima. Call me old school, but thats me
Old School - na na nana na!
All of the above are great, but here is my list (in order)
