I would PM member but theres frigging millions of them and the MB doesn’t let you have a list and add to it.
Its a lot of bloody work and as I spent over 2 hours simply putting the post together I don’t want to spend another 3 hours PMing everyone in that list, it would be much easier to do if we either did it as we went along or every 1st of the month.
OK I’m exaggerating a wee bit but you know what I mean.

I know what you mean…sometimes it is alot of work to get things done. We can let this one go coz it was so many. I am very greatful for the work all you have done. But in the future lets try and keep it to the old way. We should do it once a month or 3 months max.

A technical problem:
Somebody accidentally has deleted one of my posts there in the awards thread. I mean the first one after FF’s long list. In that one I have awarded FF with Outstanding Moderator Medal…
Any chance to have it back or it was physically removed?

Its been a long while but apart from searching for sapm and dealing with bone posts, do you actually have any awards to make?
Starting right now, Im instigating a new rule.
If you feel someone deserves an award, then award it and tell them to put it up.
Also for those of you that actually use them, and all of the Mods should, you are all awarded the site defence ones, loyal member ones, and if there was a Spam killer one, you can have that too.
I am concious that we are all volunteers here and thank you all for your continued contributions in lieu of Gen S and the site owner. Hopefully we can get some changes made to make our job easier and the valued members experience that much better.
Librarian, Egorka and Flamethrowerguy should all get awards for something or other (being all round good eggs if nothing else) but since I’ve been busily avoiding the awards system I have no idea what would be appropriate.

Not particularly for reporting spam, rather for continuing to post good stuff when everyone around them was dissolving into spam and trolling. Frankly, far too few of the other members did so and accordingly I think they deserve special recognition.

Looks like we need to agree on who gets what award and then send a PM to each of the recipients notifying them of the award. And we need to include a link to each award so that it can be included in their signature.
Last award was given on 11-19-2007, 08:15 PM … JMO but I think we need to get back on this or give up on it. We have a minimal site recognition …but if our members dont care…maybe we should poll it???
I know its a pain in the ass but it is something we do for our members so im still for it.
