She was an agent for Special Operations Executive. Think of her as similar job to the Russian girl ( I apologise if I get the name wrong) “Kitten” who became a German officer’s mistress so she could send reports back to NKVD and was eventually ordered to assassinate the officer but got caught.
Noor was trained as a radio operator, and intelligence information gatherer, rather than the job of “Kitten” but “Kitten” is the only Russian girl I can think of right now who was involved in clandestine operations.

I used to have a file of Air Transport Auxiliary girls.
They were not combat pilots as such, but flew freshly manufactured aircraft to operational units for delivery to them.
However, each did receive basic aircombat training, and in a couple cases, got into dogfights while on delivery flights.
Many years ago, I performed the Funeral for an ATA woman.
I was saddened that even my work colleagues did not know of the crucial role the ATA played in Britain during WW2.
I researched them for a while, and the wartime history of the lady I had done the funeral of, but there was (back in 1987) very very little information available. What I did garner has since been lost.
