Hi Fitgun.
I was RA too. NS though. I was with 46(m) HAA and was stationed at Carter Barracks in Bulford, Wilts. I was 117 Bty clerk. I was demobbed in 1951 and three months later I was in the RAF. I was electrical fitter and worked on Lincolns and Canberra’s (hence the Canberra Man) I am well into senior citizenship at 78.

Hello. Nice to know your interests… I think… lol.
Hi, Williams here. I’m a 13 year old girl living in Australia. I love history and I want to be a Historian when I grow up. My full name is: <deleted>. World War Two interests me because I had family members who served in North Africa and the Pacific Theaters of the war.
Kiwimac, 48, former admin at ww2aircraft.net, German & Italian ww2 aircraft buff. My dad fought in WW2.
Welcome kiwimac, actually there are some busy threads right now to beg for your attendance being a priest/theologian.

Hey Williams, you find out alot here. Its good to see another girl on here, it gets lonley some times.
Most of us had family fighting in ww2 it may be with the allies or with the axis.
But some members on here were actually born juring the war years.
Mostly the older gentlemen on here. Truce;)
Thought you should know. Could add some more if you want…lol
Hello, new member from Canada here. I have been reading and learning about the two world wars for about 35 years! Yikes thats dating me lol.
I have always been interested in the less written about combatants in the wars and have also delved into scale models off and on over the years.
With the advent of the net the information is much more obtainable and interesting, much easier than the “old” days when one would scour the book stores and librarys for a small thread of info or a picture.
This looks like a great site, looking forward to participating!
Django…from the classic Spaghetti Western…another interest of mine lol
sorry i cant wright my right arm is swollen
best wishes erwin
