I canāt remember the exact reason he got the separate rations.
Health and diet
Since the 1860s when the church began, wholeness and health have been an emphasis of the Adventist church.[13] Adventists present a health message that recommends vegetarianism and expects abstinence from pork, shellfish, and other foods proscribed as āuncleanā in Leviticus 11. The church discourages its members from the use of alcohol, tobacco or illegal drugs (compare Christianity and alcohol). In addition, some Adventists avoid coffee and other beverages containing caffeine.
Sanitarium products on sale.
Sanitarium products on sale. The pioneers of the Adventist church had much to do with the common acceptance of breakfast cereals into the Western diet. John Harvey Kellogg was one of the early founders of the Adventist health work. His development of breakfast cereals as a health food led to the founding of Kelloggās by his brother William K. Kellogg. In Australia, the church-owned Sanitarium Health Food Company is one of Australiaās leading manufacturers of health and vegetarian-related products.
Research funded by the U.S. National Institutes of Health has shown that the average Adventist in California lives four to ten years longer than the average Californian. The research, as cited by the cover story of the November 2005 issue of National Geographic magazine, asserts that Adventists live longer due to not smoking or drinking, and their healthy, low-fat vegetarian diet rich in nuts and beans.[14][15] The cohesiveness of Adventistsā social networks has also been put forward as an explanation of their extended lifespan.[16]
Not doubting your word but I wasnt aware you could do that. If your active AF how could you possibly do National Guard? And are you in the Army reserves as well? Sorry just alot I dont understand with this one. Be great if you could explain. Military must have changed alot since I thought about joiningā¦but that was about 10 years ago.
Itās quite simple.
AF full time.
NG part time, subject to call out by state governor or mobilization by US President.
Army reserve, subject to mobilization by US President.
If de shit hits de fan big time and all hands are required on deck, heās gunna be in three places at once.
Probably three stockades, for failing to meet his service obligations to one while wearing himself out serving the other two. Or vice versa.
I donāt doubt itās possible for a member of the Ohio NG to perform military and militia wonders. After all, it managed Kent State on home soil.
Picky, I know, but he thinks heās 'a Air Force ā¦ and Army".
Iād be content being just one. Or just a plane. Or platoon.
Iām surprised heās not a Navy SEAL that moonlights delivering pizzas (to hostile foreign embassies) for the CIAā¦
