I will be away from Sunday, moving base and house and dont know when I will get my new connection up and running, hopefully tuesday but you never know with these things.

Anyhoo…im heading back to the states for awhile. Leaving Tuesday. Not sure when ill be back on. Have to do a tour of friends and family. Ill drop in when I can.
Yes, lots. With the odd bitterly cold interlude which doesn’t help much when virtually all of your kit is soaked through. There was actually some nice weather about, but we didn’t get any of it for the field exercise phase.

Well im kinda back! I live in a technology hole on the world. Seriously im on dail up at the moment. If I just had a rotary phone I would fit perfectly back in the dark ages of tech. So ill try to be on as much as I can but it hard to handle the slowness.
Anyhow looks like things are going good. Im pretty happy with the staff we have. We could all do more … thats kind of given. You guys are doing a great job. Keep up the work. Thanks from me.
In a previous incarnation I used to go to Sennybridge a lot. You could guarantee that no matter how scorching or what time of year it was as soon as you got within 3 miles of Senny it would start raining and be dull for 2-3 weeks. I dont know why people live in places like Brecon as I dont think Ive ever been there when it wasnt raining.
Still, its all good for morale and teambuilding and if you aint wet and miserable your not having fun…

Good point. There is a clear chain of command. If you would like to speak privately with GS you should say " GS, check your inbox" or “You’ve got a PM”. ;)Amigo, I think that you try to overrule the whole staff below GS since you stated that you have to discuss ONLY with GS some aspects of the rules and also you expressed your availability as a “German Military Historian” at ww2admin calls. :D:D
Anyway it’s your choice and I already know (actually I figure) your opinion about me. I’m already retired and the next step would be to be banned by you when you’ll become Chief mod or Admin…

The Chief Mod(s) are your boss. Administrators do not overrule them unless they have to. So listen to them.

The new quoting is a bit odd. Anyhow…PK if you feel that you have an idea that needs to go straight to the top tell me. But I think most of your concerns can be handled be FF. Bottom line: I have a “open door” policy but if it is something FF can handle then … he is the man to speak too. He is your boss and im the one that makes changes.
