I was suspicious for his terrible way of writing but…PDF caught him badly.
Thing is, he hasn’t yet come fully clean. He admitted to some lies, but tried to cover them up with further lies. Hence my response, which was intended by way of “come fully clean right now or you’re history” - IMHO if he comes fully clean now and owns up to it then we let things slide, but if he tries anything further I think he should be instantly banned.
Yep, sorry guys. I never had to give an infraction before and I probably was too lenient. He got my back up and for once I did something out of reaction without thinking about it. We all have our days I suppose.

Actually I caught a kid impersonating a ww2 veteran several months ago. GS gave him 1 -2 points (sincerely I don’t remember now how many). Point is that he made several apologising posts telling that he is 12 yo and it was a mistake (bla bla). I look forward to see Dorr’s further posts.

Yeah, I had that in mind when I didn’t ban him outright for it but gave him a last chance to come clean - the WW2 impersonator (wasn’t he pretending to be a Waffen SS sniper or something?) has IIRC turned out to be a good member over time.
I’ve got a bad feeling about Sgt Dorr though - personally I’d have him on a hair-trigger ban for the next few months.

I have rescinded the infraction prior to any investigation given to RS by you and suggest that both HE and YOU be called into judgement over this stupid affair.
Um, yeah, concur with Firefly here (more or less). There are a couple of issues here where PK appears to have been violating the mod guidlines (unless I’ve missed a whole lot of stuff).
Quoting from the “Rules regarding infractions” thread:
- PLEASE NOTE: No infraction point will be valid if a formal warning has not been issued first.
- P2. First time infractions should never exceed one “non-expiring” point. This limits first time infractions to a 1 point total.
- P3. If a staff member wishes to exceed the 1 point total. He must first discuss the situation with staff members.
- P4. Issuing an infraction point without first warning the a member will result in a “non-expiring” formal warning.
- P5. Violation of rule P2, will result in a “non-expiring” formal warning.
Now, so far as I’m aware RS has not been issued a formal warning (if so please link), nor has he previously been awarded any infraction points. If so, then what PK just did is a clear violation of the modding rules.
And that’s even before going into whether what RS did actually deserves any sort of warning/infraction point…
No problem, you can check miy actions in the Mod log, actually I warned him that I going to give an infraction, but i didnt do inmediately.

PDF 27 the “informal warning” was already given when I said to everybody to slow down a bit in the topic.
In any case there was already intances in wich a Moderator had given infraction points without any formal or informal warning and I cant give examples.
