Just a reminder guys, this thread is for reporting spam in. Do NOT use the report post button for anything other than trolling, etc. requiring rapid mod intervention - it emails all the mods and starts a new thread in the war room, which is an excessive response to minor spam.

Actually it has opened in the past to regular posters due to a glitch that has been solved. It’s actually pretty boring and filled with threads announcing the hundreds of banned spammers we have…

I dunno, there is the occasional fantasy thread on who we would really, really like to ban. Sometimes we even do it :twisted:

spamming is a problem on all boards. many are now delaying membership confirmation. spammers usually don’t like to wait they want on now. so it does discourage them. some board ive had to wait hours even days ro get on .
some friendly advise. never tell anyone what security programs your using.
Well, Spammers will always find a way to get on. The only way to fight them is a nice little infinite IP Ban. That should do the job.
Even though I have to say this is one of the most Spam-free forums I know…
