Tanks and armor quiz (medium level)

That’s an easy one: British Valiant
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valiant_tank

I’m pleased to know that this task represented an easy one for you, my dear Mr. Sergej. You know – we have to perform our warm-up appropriately.

And yes – you are absolutely right about the personal identity of our special armored guest star. It’s your turn again – therefore please: show us what you have in your secret repository!

Thank you Librarian. Our next vehicle is less known, but I don’t thinks that there is a problem to identify this.

Oh, not at all, my dear Mr. Sergej: our special guest was the US-built T55 3-inch 8x8 Motor Carriage, produced by GM, also known as the “Cook Interceptor”. Here you have a direct link:

Thats right Librarian. It was also known as “Cook’s Cozy Cabin”

Well, honorable ladies and gentlemen, our quiz surely has a momentum!

OK – my dear Mr. Sergej: what is this?

A Finnish T-34 Mockup based on T-38.

Correct, my dear Mr. Sergej! Your turn again.

BTW: Today I have to visit Belgrade for some official purpose, but after 18.00 CET - you can count on me.

Thanks, and now something with wheels again.
What is this?

I’ll make the comment for all the people who don’t know tanks and such as well as you and Librarian, IT HAS AN AA GUN!!! Go ahead Librarian, solve it for us.

Thank you for your kind and deeply encouraging confidence, my dear Mr. Prime Minister! Our special armored guest star was the T24 Armored Scout Car, based upon the 37mm Motor Gun Carriage chassis T14.

You are right both T14 and T24 are based on the Willys Super Jeep 6x6.
I’m curious about your next enigma.

Excellent, my dear Mr. Sergej – perhaps this one will be suitable even for your truly amazing personal collection of armored rarities.

The running gear looks like some British light tank Mk. I - Mk. III.
The concept is something like Stuart Recce, or Canadian Kangaroo.
In other words, I have no idea.

Indeed excellent example of analytic thinking, my dear Mr. Sergej! Yes, you are on the right track – aforepresented vehicle indeed had been projected as a universal armored chassis, suitable for different roles of combat transportation, as well as for explicit battle missions in a role of the infantry-supporting vehicle.

However, our vehicle is not connected with the shining armored heritage of the British Commonwealth.

Is there any info of this vehicle on the net?, or just in bools and secret archives?

Tanque de Juguete?

You are my man, Mr. Segej – yes, that’s our mystery vehicle! Bravo – my sincerest congratulations! Please - carry on. :))

It took a bit longer, cause I looked for a Peruvanian Railwaycompany
named CNT:D.Now this is the next one:

Hiya, Sergej, and all!

I’m fairly certain it’s a Landsverk 182 armored car… can’t figure out the who or where tho’.
