I agree that most European countries have a more socialistic way of running their country (please dont confuse socialism with communism). Having travelled extensively in both regions I find that the taxes and prices are less in n America, this is balanced by the fact that in my experience, the poor in the US look really poor and the wages in the US seem to be low in comparison to the Uk at least. This is not a dig at any of them, purely MY observation.
