The picture is from the battle of Budapest (late 1944). All are Romanian soldiers.
The guy in the left is Lieutenant General Nicolae Sova (check also http://www.worldwar2.ro/generali/?language=en&article=92)

I looked at them pictures, revolver and saw fear and grief in the eyes of man.
I understand where you mean, it has a message to them.
I have seen sad video clips on the discovery channel of nazi and russian executions and close ups of rotting bodies and its quite disturbing, someting the newer Generations will never understand.
CJ you think then i not understand those pictures,this is The best soviets picture or poster topic not ,topic about POW who soviets killed .
I think then this pic are not for this topic ,just that,we all here post normal pictures of soviets soldiers not something like this.
Ok if that picture of the dead soldier really upsets you and you think it will upset others then i suggest you ask a mod to remove it because i am not a mod on the Russian Forums.
