Allright then:
Ooh, ooh, I know, I know! But won’t say!
An unusually good looking plane fo a country noted for some pretty monsterous looking flying machines!
Russ
Proud son of Rose and Wes
Martin Maryland A-22?
Alas no, it’s European.
This aircraft is a BLOCH MB-131 RB4 medium bomber
C’est vrai. Your turn!
Hope this loaded ok. Heres one for you to ponder !
Hi Colonel, I’m back from my mountain top…I would say a
Koolhoven FK-58, not sure though as the pics I have of this A/c are pretty lousy…
carson
HI Carson1934. Absolutely correct. I’ll have to make it a little more difficult next time. Over to you…
Thanks Colonel…I’m unpacking today but I’m preparing a new one just bear with me for a little more time

Here’s my challenge:
I would have said this is a variant of the Grumman Duck J2, but the empennage and the engine cowling is throwing me a bit.
I think it’s time for a clue: this is a russian fellow of the thirties and only one was built…
carson
Hi Carson. Boy this is a difficult one . It appears to be a Polikarpov series no. unknown. Just a guess perhaps Rv-23?
This IS a hard one.
Well I think it’s high time to solve the riddle of this mystery plane: it is a Nikitin NV-4 a russian amphibian of 1936 of which only one prototype was built…
As our Mr. Librarian would say: " per aspera ad astra"
I’m now waiting for your challenge!
Cheers
carson
Was it simply coincidence that this plane looked so much like a Grumman?
I reckon it is Kiwimac (or maybe not, who knows?)

Well here’s one to be going on with…
I would say Bristol Buckmaster
carson:)
It is a Bristol Type 166 Buckmaster first flight Oct. 44
Cheers
