Boy your’e good! Well spotted. Its registration was TJ714 and again your’e correct on the first flight date. October 27th 1944. There must be one out there your’e not familier with?
My dear Colonel,
there are hundreds with which I’m not familiar!
Although I’m 75 my visual memory seems to be still good as I have no aviation encyclopaedias, no Janes’, no Putnam’s, etc. only hand-made files.
If you agree I will take the liberty of submitting some time today a new (easy) challenge.
Cheers
carson
:)
So please let me propose this one which is considerably easier than the previous one:

Tschetwerikow Tsche-2 (MDR-6)? German spelling that is.
Spot ton flamethrowerguy: in italian the spelling is Chetverikov MDR6, only 27 built starting from 1937.
These were aircrafts with character not the present jets that to me look all alike!
Your turn my friend

OK, I guess I’ll continue with another one of the easier kind since I don’t want to bring another quiz thread to a halt…
Commonwealth Boomerang. An excellent stop-gap fighter aircraft of Australian design.
Right, of course.
Your turn, kiwimac
