Oh, oh my goodness: Hawker Tornado No. 5624. Well, that is a rarity, my dear Mr. Carson.
Dear Mr. Librarian
what may have been a rara avis for the vulgata certainly it wasn’t for you…of course it is a Hawker Tornado but according to 1000aircraft photos the pictured aircraft is the third prototype (HG641) with Bristol Centaurus and chin radiator…
I’m now anxiously expecting your next challenge

PS may I spare some precious broadband of this forum and use this space to address a notice to the moderator(s):
every time I open up I’m required to log in and give all pertinent details which is a real nuisance. Is there a possibility to discard this unnecessary procedure?
As always, you are absolutely right, my dear Mr. Carson. I am happy to stand corrected upon that. Typically, you are prone to make silly mistakes when you are worried that you will not have enough time to complete something… Mea culpa!
And now, something completely different:
Do you recognize this bi-motor aircraft, honorable ladies and gentlemen?
Honourable Librarian
I don’t think that my aeronautical skills go as far as identifying a bimotor in such a fuzzy image…you make too much honour to my sometimes depressed knowledge…however it would be helpful to learn the nationality of this bird or some more useful hints that wouldn’t give it outright away…
Hoping to hear from you (as I used to write in my commercial letters a long time ago)
Carson1934
No problem at all, my dear Mr. Carson. Here is another one:
Without any doubt, that distinctive crimson disc - which symbolizes the sun - this time is completely visible.
Tachikawa Ki-77 (1942) ???
Exactly, my dear Mr. Tiger 205. My sincerest congratulations. Please, carry on.
Thanks, my enigma:
That is a Kyushu Q1W Tokai, I believe.
That’s right, congrat.!
It’s your turn!
Try this one.
Good morning gentlemen,
after skipping a couple of quizzes this time I think I got there in time: the Kyushu K11W:D
Carson1934
So can we “rename” the thread as :Japanese aircrafts with unexpected markings?
Well, I guess so…however I’ll submit a new challenge possibly later today (this morning I’m busy) which for sure it’s not going to be japanese…in any case [b]after[b] I have received confirmation from Kiwimac…
Carson1934
Carson, It is indeed the Kyushu K11W. Over to you!
Thanks Kiwimac
This is my next offer a very cool little biplane of the late thirties the nationality of which is very easy to detect…
Let the best and fastest win!
Cheers

For me it seems a Boeing P-12 derivate, but I’ am not sure…
I was about to say Boeing 11, I’m probably wrong though.
Good morning gentlemen,
It is a US product of course but not from Boeing as it was built by a much smaller company…please keep searching…
Cheers
Carson1934
