I have posted in the Awards thread. Basically, I agreed that Man of Stoat had a point about real medals being worn. I suggested that we get new site medals designed? I’m sure one of our Tigers could come up with some site specific medals, then maybe more members would use them. I do feel a bit uncomfortable about wearing a combat medal as a good post medal for example.
Now I got your point. Sure it will be better to have the site medals (new ones).
I still have a question for MoS (and not only). How comes that the site ranks doesn’t bothered him? Only because they are American ranks? Quite interesting because the medals are also American ones.

I see now everyone is clamouring for awards! This can be either good or bad, we should not give out too many too soon to newer members unless they are trully outstanding.

Dont think this will go over well! Plus some are against it … and dont like forcing people to do things if they dont want to.
Panzerknacker and Gutkowski? (Already proposed…)
Handed out 2 awards today to Gutkowski and Firefly. Anyone else got some idea’s? Let focus on those member that seem serious and will stick around for awhile. Sometimes its hard to tell. As Firefly stated the forum seem to be getting a little stale. This happens from time to time. Doesnt mean that we can come up with some new topics and ideas to spark things along. So lets look for those member you think are going to be here for awhile and lets spark there interest somehow. Maybe the others will follow. If you have some idea lets hear them! Maybe should post in another area in the War Room. Know this is getting a bit off topic.
I see a new round Robin of Pms and nominations for awards has started.
Yea Me, Dani or Fw should get to those soon. I usually like to let it build for awhile and then do them all at once. Makes it a bit easier IMO.
