Well my stance is that most people that get nominatied usually deserve it. This case is no different. So maybe we should only talk about those that are questionalbe. Anyhow All mods can now issue awards so feel free to do so.

As for
it wasn’t an ultimatum or a blackmail. I was serious at that time and this time. It’s a pity that the staff of this forum to have the same style as from this February on. From several weeks we gained same valuable members and interesting themes were opened. Old members have started to come back. There is no more a dying forum.

I think its about time Mike M got the loyal member award. I cant recommend or award it as I have had several PMs with him lately about awards for other uys - Stoat for one.
However I think it would be appropriate for one of you to award him.
I would award Mike on Monday since I’ll be mostly offline till then. Also some other members should deserve the loyal member award. Nickdfresh for instance.
So if FW or GS could award them on today or tomorrow would be great.

Taking this further, what should determine the award of the Loyal member medal? Time or posts or maybe both.
I was thinking in the region of 500 posts or 12 months contribution, whichever is first. Bearing in mind that they shouldnt know as I dont want guys simply putting up 500 inane posts, any thoughts on this?
I think 8 - 12 month contribution is probably best.

I think HG and Kolvaski are also up for the loyal member medal. Anyone have a problem with this???
i still think medal shouldnt be give away like candy. But if you really think its nessasary, then i have no objection either.
I agree with FW, Loyal member medals should be just that. But other medals should be carefully discussed before awarding.
Maybe we should have a small poll between ourselvs with reasons why we are awarding any medals except the loyal one. This would be both democratic and transparent to us in the Mod room.
