Band of brothers is my favorite too, do you know the miniserie “the Pacific” from the same producer ?
Welcome to the group, Vonss. Sounds as if you have found a good place to pursue your interests. I also like the “Band of Brothers”, and have read the book about their exploits. There is an excellent old black and white movie named “Battleground” that was very authentic, about a company of the 101st Airborne Division and their fight in and around Bastogne during the German Ardennes Offensive. If you have not seen it, perhaps it is still available to rent. I’ll look forward to your activity on the site.
I do know of the pacific,I was not really into it like how I was with BOB.
I do like old black and white ww2 movies,such as battleground,bridge to far,ect.
